What the Classic American Hunter Pack includes
The Classic American Hunter Pack includes the Winchester Model 1892 Short Rifle lever-action rifle, the American Foxhound dog breed, and the Verney-Carron Woolchap hat in three color variants. It is downloadable content for Hunting Simulator 3, so you need the base game to use it.
Before you head to the lodge
Make sure you own the base game before claiming the pack through its Steam DLC listing. The collection route starts after you finish or skip the tutorial, then uses the hub helicopter to reach Colorado. From there, the lodge gives you access to the armory, upstairs wardrobe, and kennel.
Reach the rifle, hat and Foxhound
- Open the Classic American Hunter Pack on Steam to claim the DLC while its promotional offer is available.
- Finish or skip the tutorial to reach the point where you can use the helicopter in the hub.
- Select Colorado at the hub helicopter to travel to the map used for the lodge and DLC collection route.
- Open the lodge on your right after arriving to access the rooms used for your equipment and clothing.
- Use the armory loadout bench to look for the Winchester Model 1892 Short Rifle among your weapons; this is the lodge's access point for weapons and hunting items.
- Visit the upstairs wardrobe to find the Verney-Carron Woolchap hat. The pack includes three color variants of this hat.
- Go through the garage door to reach the kennel, where you can look for the American Foxhound among the dog-related content.
Keep the Foxhound separate from other bonuses
The American Foxhound is the companion breed included with this pack. The yellow-coated Labrador comes from the separate MyNacon account-creation bonus. Check the breed name when looking through your dog content so you can distinguish the rewards.
The garage key box is the access point for vehicle liveries, while the door through the garage leads to the kennel. The Polaris RANGER EV with Pursuit Camo is a Deluxe Edition extra. For the Classic American Hunter Pack's companion, continue to the kennel for the American Foxhound.
